The Islamic Women’s Council of New Zealand (IWCNZ)
The Islamic Women’s Council of New Zealand (IWCNZ) is the national organisation for Muslim females that was established to create a support network and to cater specifically for the needs of Muslim women around the country.
Formed in 1990, IWCNZ welcomes all Muslim women in New Zealand as its members. The Administrative Council serves as the National Executive Board, and regional Muslim groups nominate representatives annually to serve on the IWCNZ full Council.
IWCNZ provides representation for Muslim women and girls’ youth and is committed to working with all groups to enhance unity amongst the Muslim Ummah in New Zealand.
