Local activities include:

  • Quran classes, counselling, convert care, and netball competitions

National programmes include:

  • Annual women’s conference
  • Youth camps and roadshows
  • Educational and empowerment workshops

IWCNZ also collaborates with NZ Police, Ethnic Affairs, and other government and interfaith organisations. It is part of the RISEAP international network.

Empowerment

IWCNZ supports Muslim women’s empowerment in all areas of life: spiritual, social, and economic. Empowered women are vital to building strong families and communities.

Violence-Free

IWCNZ stands firmly against violence towards women.
